Johnny & Heather met in the summer of 2022, at their friend Noel's apartment in Harlem, NYC. Heather brought along a white Korean rescue puppy dog, Salty, that she was fostering, and Johnny was in-charge of drinks and snacks and choosing the playlist for the backyard terrace.


On the day they met, June 18, 2022, after much laughter, a dog toilet incident and a subway ride from Harlem to West 4th, their relationship began. Sharing burgers at Bernies, ferry ride(s)!! to Redhook, Brooklyn for BBQ, more NYC pizza slices than each of us would admit, 4th July fireworks, and a summer of rooftop parties, Heather and Johnny decided to make it official.


And two and a half years later, they've walked through some high highs and low lows together. New apartments, family loss, new jobs, sickness, new friendships, travel, celebrations, grief, all rolled into over 1000 days spent together. The thing that holds them together, is their shared faith and trust in God, who brought them together and keeps them together.
